Today, students from The Zone and some Key Stage 3 classes were given a talk about how we use water. Pat, from NI Water, told us all about where our water comes from and about being more thoughtful by turning the tap off when we are not using the water.
Pat also explained what harm single use plastic is making to the environment. To try and make our school a little greener, NI Water has donated a refillable plastic bottle to every child in school. They have also made us a refill school and given us a certificate to prove it.
Students will receive these bottles either tomorrow in Primary Assembly or in the Secondary Pupil Briefing on Monday.
