Thank you to those parents who came along to Rathcoole Library this morning for a cuppa and a chat. It is great to continue to make connections! Thank you also to Rathcoole Library for their hospitality.
Parents today also enjoyed a relaxation and pampering session with Mrs Topping using the lovely Neils Yard products. It was lovely for parents to get a bit of "me time" and indulge in some pampering!
Finally this afternoon, we had a visit from Alanna from Employers for Childcare who chatted about benefits we may be entitled to. Alanna dispelled some very common myths surrounding what we may be entitled to. She highlighted that working parents may be entitled to help with childcare too and parents who are carers can get help and use it for respite. We hope to repeat the session soon but in the meantime please avail of this service by booking your own 1-1 session by phoning the freephone number 0800 0283008.
Tomorrow, we have a coffee and chat with our counsellors at 9.30am. Then at 1 pm we have a coffee opportunity for those parents from the Carrick area - we are meeting at Carrick Library at 1pm for a cuppa and chat!
