Testing Trial in Rosstulla

Rosstulla School have agreed to take part in a COVID testing trial this week.

Simple saliva testing kits are to arrive in school today(Tuesday).

We will select a group of 30 pupils and 20 staff to collect a saliva sample.

A testing kit, instructions and consent form will be sent home today for those 30 pupils.

You should collect the sample of saliva on Wednesday morning (before food) and return to school in your child's school bag along with the consent form.

All samples will be sent to Queens University for testing. We should have the results by the end of the day (Wednesday)

If your child's test result is positive you will be informed via the school text service. You should isolate in your home until further guidance from PHA the following day. The following link demonstrates how the test should be completed.
