ROSSTULLA SCHOOL, NEWTOWNABBEY CO.ANTRIM

The Dublin Dander

11th Mar 2020

Year 11 CoPE students tried to set the biggest challenge we have ever attempted in CoPE - to walk to Dublin and back!

The students worked out it was 106 miles to Dublin if you walk there from Rosstulla and then 106 back, making 212 miles in total. They came up with an idea to make a course on the school grounds and then asked as many students and staff in school to do as many laps as they could. We had to achieve roughly 3200 to make it there and back.

Amazingly we did it! We managed to reach that target by 2:30. What an amazing effort all round.

Well done to the CoPE group who created the event.
